Inflation is always semi-classical: diffusion domination overproduces Primordial Black Holes

چکیده

We use the Hamilton-Jacobi (H-J) formulation of stochastic inflation to describe evolution inflaton during a period Ultra-Slow Roll (USR), taking into account field's velocity and its gravitational backreaction. demonstrate how this formalism allows one modify existing slow-roll (SR) formulae be fully valid outside SR regime. then compute mass fraction, $\beta$, Primordial Black Holes (PBHs) formed by plateau in inflationary potential. By accounting for as it enters plateau, we find that PBHs are generically overproduced before inflaton's reaches zero, ruling out free diffusion or even noise domination on dynamics. also examine local inflection point similarly conclude entering quantum dominated therefore surmise is always predominantly classical with effects subdominant. Both characterized very sharp transition between under- over-production regimes. This can seen either severe fine-tunning production PBHs, strong link fraction $\beta$ shape potential plateau's extent.

Massive Primordial Black Holes in Hybrid Inflation

It is well known that energy density fluctuations at the early Universe give rise primordial black holes (BH) formation [1]. Widespread opinion is that these BHs are small enough with masses somewhere in the range MBH ∼ 10−5 − 10gram depending on specific model. What could be said about BHs with masses in the range 10 − 10gram? There exist a few number of inflationary models that predict BH pro...

Is the Semi-classical Analysis Valid for Extreme Black Holes?

The surface gravity for the extreme Reissner-Nordström black hole is zero suggesting that it has a zero temperature. However, the direct evaluation of the Bogolubov’s coefficients, using the standard semi-classical analysis, indicates that the temperature of the extreme black hole is ill definite: the Bogolubov’s coefficients obtained by performing the usual analysis of a collapsing model of a ...

Hybrid Inflation without Flat Directions and without Primordial Black Holes

We investigate the possibility that the Universe may inflate due to moduli fields, corresponding to flat directions of supersymmetry, lifted by supergravity corrections. Using a hybrid-type potential we obtain a two-stage inflationary model. Depending on the curvature of the potential the first stage corresponds to a period of fast-roll inflation or a period of ‘locked’ inflation, induced by an...

Chaotic New Inflation and Formation of Primordial Black Holes

It is shown that in a number of scalar potentials with an unstable local maximum at the origin chaotic inflation is followed by new inflation if model parameters are appropriately chosen. In this model density fluctuation can have a large-amplitude peak on the comoving Hubble scale at the onset of the slow-roll new inflation and can result in formation of appreciable amount of primordial black ...

Double Inflation in Supergravity and Primordial Black Holes Formation

In this talk we propose a natural double inflation model in supergravity. Chaotic inflation first takes place by virtue of the Nambu-Goldstone-like shift symmetry. During chaotic inflation, an initial value of second inflation (new inflation) is set, which is adequately far from the local maximum of the potential due to the small linear term in the Kähler potential. Then, primordial fluctuation...
